“The Beach”
This was taken last year from my vacation to the Philippines, though I consider it my true home. We were on a boat tour of the Hundred Islands National Park, Alaminos, Pangasinan Province, Philippines and the light just captured my envisioning of this image and I couldn’t wait to get it out of my camera then

THE KALESA. This is a horse carriage locally called “kalesa” taken along the dark streets of Intramuros. This type of transport goes a long way back during the Spanish occupation in the Philippines hundreds of years ago. Now catering mostly for tourists, it is mostly used for sight seeing and educational tours in the walled city. Other sites where “kalesas” can be found are in Cebu, Vigan, Binondo.

Pasig River…looks better than before. I think of Venice when I look at this photo. Bring me to Europe.
I love watching the night lights while listening to chillout music.

FISHING BOATS. The Philippines being an archipelagic nation is home to many fishing communities. As time progresses, motorized boats like the ones shown here are now used instead of the traditional paddled ones, though there are still a lot of people using paddled boats in many parts of the country. This was taken at the Bay Area of Maria, Siquijor Island in the Philippines
